Does what happened to Ayla haunt them?

There are people out there who know what happened to Ayla. Do you think it haunts them? From all appearances, they’ve moved on with their lives with no concern for a “kidnapped” Ayla. Are they putting on a front in hopes everyone will forget while inside the memories are eating them alive? How do they feel when they hear her name or see her picture? Do they lay awake at night trying to work up the courage to tell the truth or do they loose sleep fearing someone else is going to throw them under the bus? What do you think?
