JUSTIN DIPIETRO HASN’T SPOKEN OUT FOR AYLA IN 5 YEARS!

It’s been 5 years today since Justin has spoken out for Ayla. It was here at New Beginnings Church of God that Lance arranged a vigil for Ayla. You might remember that media cameras weren’t allowed. A local reporter was able to go in on the condition he didn’t ask the DiPietros any questions. Community members who attended the vigil claimed that it seemed like a funeral service.

What did he say? What were the last words he shared with the public about his missing toddler daughter? After four months with no sightings of Ayla, who he claimed had been abducted from his home, what was the first thing he had to say?

“In the past four months and two days, this has kind of gotten off track,” he said. “It’s been about me, or it’s been about (Ayla’s mother) Trista (Reynolds), when it should have been about Ayla.”

So what had he been doing during those last four months?

DiPietro said he has been working with website This Little Light of Maine to raise awareness for his missing daughter.

“We now have 62 billboards that are up across the country. They’re in Washington, Oregon, California, Missouri, Mississippi, Georgia, Ohio and there’s still more to come,” he said.

Was he concerned with what Ayla could be going through? If she was healthy? If she was being fed? If she was scared? What words did he leave the nation with?

He said efforts to find Ayla should be positive.

“That’s about all we can do right now, is stay positive,” he said. “Every day doesn’t get any easier for me. Just please, please keep your eyes open and don’t stop, and we will get her home.”

After five years maybe Justin will have something more to say. As far as I’m concerned, he doesn’t need to say anything to us. Just tell law enforcement where Ayla is.

Justin, these were your words on 3/31/12.

“I wanted to be there for her, because she deserved for me to be.”

Be there for her now Justin. She deserves it. Get your daughter home. It’s not about you anymore. It’s about Ayla.
