How many remember when little Aliayah was reported missing? Then the pictures starting coming out. The sadness in her eyes broke the hearts of everyone who saw the images of her bruised little face.
The trial for her murder started Monday and I’ve tried to follow along. Her mother has several charges.

A grand jury indicted Lena Lunsford in March 2017. She stands officially charged with one count of murder of a child by parent, guardian or custodian or other person by refusal or failure to necessities, one count of death of a child by parent, guardian, custodian or other person by child abuse, one count of child abuse resulting in injury and one count of concealment of a deceased human body.
From what I’ve read so far, Aliayah’s sisters came forward with information in 2016. Their mother had made them promise to never tell but they finally were able to break free from their silence. This case is hard for me to follow but I will add more information and details when I can. Please post articles and links to help keep us updated.
