Mother Charged With Murder 32 Years After Reporting Son Missing

10 Feb

We can’t give up hope for justice for Ayla. For 32 years this woman thought she would get away with her 3 year old son’s murder but she was wrong.

Florida woman arrested in 1986 murder of her son, 3, who was reported missing, reports say

Florida woman was arrested last month for the murder of her 3-year-old son in Nevada more than three decades after she reported him missing and insisted the child’s biological father was involved in his disappearance, reports said.

Amy Elizabeth Fleming, 60, was arrested on Jan. 29 for the 1986 murder of her son, Francillon Pierre, the Palm Beach Post reported. Jail records show Fleming was extradited to Nevada on Sunday and is expected to appear in court Monday.

It’s unclear what information investigators uncovered that led to Fleming’s arrest in the cold case. North Las Vegas Police Officer Eric Leavitt told KSNV that police had “pieced several things together” while investigating the case in the last few months. Police are expected to hold a news conference Monday to release more details.

More at link. I plan to watch the press conference on Monday and I’ll post a link if it’s live. Justice for Francillon “Yo Yo”.

Sorry Karen, I just found your comment in the spam folder. It is very sad. Not only did she murder this poor boy, she also blamed his disappearance on his biological father. Sounds familiar IMO.

No smoking gun. The totality of evidence and maybe because of new eyes and or new attitudes about what to legally try? That also could happen for Ayla.

The mother and stepfather were abusive to Pierre – they both pled guilty to the child abuse charges. I have often wondered what Grandma Phoebe, Aunt Elisha and Daddy’s Girlfriend Courtney think child abuse is to a very little -not able to really talk yet- very young child, actually is? We know Aunt Elisha thinks spitting up blood is nothing to worry about.

My God, the way people attacked and blamed Trista to cover for Justin. Everyone who did that – disgustingly cruel behavior.

I hope someone tells where Francillon Pierre is. I hope he gets the legal justice he deserves.

I think Serenity’s cousin’s thinking about the alerts is smart. Yes some will tune out to more alerts, however, I bet in the end, more people would end up knowing to look. I hope her idea goes somewhere. I really hope Serenity is holed up somewhere she is warm.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/crime-law/2019/02/20/police-revived-murder-case-by-live-tweeting-girls-last-day-now-they-have-an-arrest/

Some who read here may find this article interesting. A 11 year old girl named Linda Ann was murdered in the 1970s. The police have never forgotten Linda and that her case remained unsolved. 40 some years later they still have her picture up. They recently used social media to try to get more information. In this case a DNA match finally came up in the system. A man has been arrested.

Recently l read that more and more law enforcement departments are going back to try to solve older cases including cold cases. It is a new attitude and new times when more can be done. (In the past even when law was determined, they did not always have the public support, funds and science they may have now. And nowadays, more victims count. ) ms.p
