Six years ago today, Ayla was alive…

14 Dec

… and she should still be alive today. Unfortunately those who should’ve protected her at the time are now protecting the one who ended her life. None of us know what Ayla’s last days were like because the few who know have been all but silent. Worst of all, Ayla’s maternal family doesn’t know about Ayla’s last days because the paternal family won’t tell them anything.

The maternal family can only imagine what Ayla might have been doing. Sometimes our imagination can be comforting but at other times, terrifying. I pray that God will comfort them through the anniversary of Ayla’s disappearance and this holiday season.

I still have hope that Ayla will be found, although that hope has dwindled over the years. Someone out there knows where Ayla is and I won’t stop praying that they will come forward some day. This has gone on too long and the kidnapping charade needs to be put to rest. Secrets can eventually destroy their keepers and there are too many secrets being kept. The truth will eventually be revealed, whether here or the hereafter. Either way, Ayla and her loved ones will some day have justice. Throughout eternity.

Maine State Police Tip Line  –   207-624-7076

Update with a word from Jeff – “Statement in Remembrance”

“The maternal side of Ayla Reynolds family would like to convey their best wishes to all those that continue to seek justice for Ayla. It is our hope that the tragedy that befell our family six years ago, never touches yours. Be at peace and hold your family close to your heart, be they near or far away this holiday season.”

Heart breaking. There is no justice that will mend the hole in Trista hole but she needs to know where is Ayla. Prayering hard Mama that Ayla will be found soon. I am praying that when Trista gets her day in court that they corner one of those idiots into talking.

Well the facts concerning what happened to Ayla who was still a toddler in her last days including where she was last hidden needs to be told to her mother. Trista always was and is a loving mom. Not only did Ayla suffer and pay the ultimate price because of someones elses actions, her *always* parent was being denied access to her at the time. Which of course also means Ayla was also being denied her right to see her mama. That alone could have kept Ayla alive. So much very wrong here.

Ayla, the whole story of her last days should be publicly told as so many people were involved in what happened to her. I mean people decide to play God and inserted themselves in her life in a totally wrong – what should be a considered an illegal way- and then totally abondoned her in a totally careless way. Multiple people or society systems made decisions for her then looked the other way or just left her at the mercy of a new dad who really did not want her.

I do still hope Ayla will be found. Probably someone has to tell…?

I’ve updated the post with a word from Jeff and Ayla’s maternal family.

Also he mentioned this – “Crime Watch will be airing an updated episode regarding Ayla Reynolds tomorrow afternoon (Friday 12/15 – check your local cable listings). I’m told that It should be on their website by 6pm EST.”

      Wow. Thanks MM.
Trista is going to have to have a civil case. If he really thought Trista had Ayla, then he would have pushed for her return.
I pray that one day the truth will come out.

If Trista had Ayla, which clearly she don’t ) she would not be pushing for a civil suite against that P.O.S.come on,how stupid does he think we are???He needs to wake up and tell the whole truth. We know he knows what happened to Ayla.

If Trista had Ayla,(which clearly she don’t) she would have no need to bring a civil case against Justin. He must think we are all stupid.Plus him sticking to that story of Ayla being kidnapped, only this time he said he thinks someone that is close to Ayla took her, what’s up with this??Never once before did he say he thinks someone that is close to Ayla took her.

You know Karen the more I think about, the only thing he said without the reporter’s constant leading was when he was explaining why he ran away from Trista. He seemed to have that memorized compared to everything else he said. I can’t help but wonder if that’s why he agreed to the interview.

That statement stood out to me. Plus I believe that it may be an exaggeration/distortion about how many were there. I really don’t remember things got shut down. I do remember PhD called Ron a name and that caused some issue. I think Phoebe and Ron may have been asked to leave?

I love your comment about the move to LA. I think he wanted to get as far away from Maine so if they did find Ayla he could run.

He also cancelled twice before he did the interview by phone. I feel he was afraid his guilt would show. He also kept pulling his hood on his jacket tight around his face. Why????

Justin is truly a disgusting example of a man, and of a human being and especially of a father. First because of how he took care of Ayla and then as a result how he then treated and is still treating Ayla’s mother, it is all defining him. Right now, it is without a question that this is the most important thing he has ever done with his life and he has proven himself to be one of the most callous of men. First Ayla was repeatedly harmed somehow and then apparently things escalated and she was harmed in some horrible permanent way. Which doing all this to Ayla, had to also punch a permanent hole in Trista’s heart. And then he just punched away again by hiding Ayla. Trista still to this days does not have her baby back ! And even NOW Justin is still trying to use and blame someone else, and of course this mysterious kidnapper, just happens to be a person who is close to Trista.. These acts and behavior is all so unacceptable.

Also so importantly, there are others who have been deeply affected by all this. We all know that Papa Ron has spoken out about needing and wanting Ayla back. Many times Ron has publicly demanded Justin tell what he knows. It is obvious that this tragedy has deeply wounded Ron. I can only imagine how this has hurt Aunt Jessica who was always a very close and loving aunt who tried her best to stop Justin from even getting Ayla to begin with. Grandma Becca has shared some personal things about her relationship with Ayla. Becca wanted everyone to know Ayla was a very special little girl and she was very important to her Grandma. She has also spoken a little bit about what this also did to her heart being Trista’s mom. Ayla’s brothers are continuing to growup with their big sister just gone ! All the rest of Ayla’s loving family and friends… no one yet has been able to have any closure. Six years later everyone is still waiting to get Ayla back and waiting for her to get legal justice and truth. All while Justin is still blaming a mysterious kidnapper.

I am strictly speaking for myself, I think Justin could redefine himself. To start with, he cannot change what happened with Ayla, but he could tell the truth and face the consequences. It would help EVERYONE involved. .

    ————

Ohh, that ridiculous story that someone close to Trista came and took Ayla in the night while three adults were present. (1.)The supposed Reynold’s kidnapper would have had to have known that the doors to the house were not locked as there is no evidence of any window being touched. I also assume that LE found no tunnel dug to the “girls” bedroom. That would have been told to the public, so no on that (2.)The kidnapper would have also had to known ahead of time that all three adults present that night were experiencing some sort of temporary hearing loss. That they (the kdnpr) could come in and leave with a toddler while most likely walking by, near or in front of A.E.D bedroom door (?which I believe it would have had to have happened twice?) all while also walking over the heads of Justin, Courtney and another child right underneath of the bedroom and hall floor in a old house. None of the 3 adults heard that ‘special bedroom door’ being lifted and opened. (That very door that Ayla could not have wandered away because she never could have lifted and opened it herself.) (3.) Lucky for the kidnapper he or she went unseen by anyone while hanging out in the yard and observed that Ayla was sleeping in the girls’ bedroom that night. Normally Ayla slept in the basement with Justin. AND, Ayla was sleeping in the ‘girls’ room all alone. Normally it is GD’s room to sleep in. (4.) And no one checked on Ayla all that night. And this no checking on her – also there was no baby monitor. Why no baby monitor? Because they could normally hear what was going on in that old home? There are to many things and this is all without mentioning the blood and other fluids that were found. (5.) Justin never called Trista that morning. Why not? He did not think it possible the morning of, that Trista or any Trista related person was involved. And also so many other questions concerning Justin’s behavior.

    • Karen

      December 16, 2017 at 7:26 am

I agree that nothing in the evidence that we know or behavior of Justin, makes it believable that Ayla was taken. And if he really thought Trista had her, then his behavior really does not match.
It is the same story that he always told that LE does not believe.
The three have all the answers.

But, he knows this is not going to fade into the past. He has been a nervous jerk for six years.
I hope he tells what he did with Ayla before he sees her soon.
His family should be with him and worried about him right now. Would he feel better about himself if he told the truth?

If he told the truth, who else would be in trouble? They should think about this and make a deal.

        December 16, 2017 at 4:04 pm

Karen, you are so right. None of what happened is just going to fade. I don’t know who calculated all this… but, they made the wrong calculation. Well that is what I believe.

Justin did look like a mess in the interview. I don’t care about his well being, except how it affects Ayla and how it affects Trista. But I know I really think HE would be so much better off starting over with the truth.

I wonder how much does Phoebe care? She did not get Justin a lawyer.

Childs, 61, a former probate judge and graduate of Cheverus High School and the University of Maine School of Law, both in Portland, said he took the case, which he basically is funding himself, because what happened to Ayla “is just not right. I don’t have any better explanation than that.”

“It seems like nobody else was able to move the case forward and I knew I could, just based on my past experience,” he said in an interview this past week.

        —————-

A Cumberland County probate judge agrees, having declared Ayla legally dead last Sept. 27, paving the way for Trista Reynolds and her family to file a wrongful death suit — a civil suit — against Justin DiPietro and possibly others.

“We are investigating the matter with use of numerous private investigators both within and without the state of Maine,” Childs said. “Under the law, we still have a sufficient period of time (to file).”

Asked why the suit has not yet been filed, Childs responded: “We are awaiting the receipt of one additional piece of evidence.”

He said he did not want to get into more specific details about what he plans to do in the case.

Snipped from Amy’s newest article – the one Gwen shared the link with us:

“”Meanwhile, the television show “Crime Watch Daily” recently interviewed Justin DiPietro for a show that aired Friday and that is posted on the Crime Watch website, in which he said he thinks someone close to Ayla abducted her. McCausland, who also was interviewed for the program, disputed that claim.

“It’s the same thing we’ve said for six years. No one took her outside that house,” he told the Morning Sentinel. “She wasn’t abducted and she didn’t wander away by herself.” “”

I personally took this literally and at face value. That there is no evidence anyone other than the three adults were there that night and that there is no evidence Ayla left on her own.

Also Trista told us something about LE thinking Ayla was wrapped in sheets and carried out in a tote??? I will go back and see if that was in the article too. Maybe it was just on The Crime watch video? I remember Trista being emotional. (I am on my phone.)

Anyone else think differently about what McCausland said?

I don’t believe they are truthful about Ayla either. They have twisted the truth to explain things away. I was just wondering if it was anything new they were saying now. Alya being sick to explain the blood evidence was new on the last interview Elisha did.

When they showed Trista the evidence slide show, they said there was a sheet or blanket in the tote bag that looked like they had wrapped Ayla up in.
So not only did Trista take Ayla, she returned the sheet and tote bag she was removed in? I wonder how they will explain that when under oath.

I think someone on JFA said all of Phoebes children had different dads when people asked who Justin’s dad was. They also speculated that he was from California or at least stationed there with the marines. I wonder if that is why Justin moved there? Maybe his dad or an old friend of Phoebe’s is helping him?

So many of us think Derrick knows something about Ayla, I hope he is questioned under oath too.

Mama here is an update on the little girl from the Dallas. Like Ayla so many have come forward to honor her life but the difference is both of her adopted parents are sitting in jail. It was found out in another article that the night before they reported her missing the two of them went out to with their real daughter. A receipt was found showing only 2 meals and 1 kids meal. Both parents stared that they left Sherrin in the kitchen and she was still there when they return. I bet that she was died before they ate. I know the police are waiting on the girls autospy to charge them with murder. As far as i know they are still in jai

I heard but can not remember sorry. I know they wanted her with family in India but that did not happen. I am thinking she is somewhere in southern Texas. I think both parents are still in jail because they both were taken by police for the custody hearing. Also they wanted the fathers rights taken away. That is when the story came out about them going out then i was praying their daughter never sees both of her parents again.

I wish to extend my best wishes and hope for a blessed and prosperous year to all.

Thinking of the many voices from these past years {some still active, some silent in waiting), I add my hopes and prayers that 2018 is the year Ayla receives the conclusion to her case she is long past due.

May truth and justice reign in 2018.

I just want to say it is 2018 and people are still remembering Ayla Bell Reynolds. I say this to those who think it is possible to just disappear Ayla and similarly other little children. Ayla deserves to be remembered as the beautiful little girl she was. Also, she was an important part of her family. And Ayla deserves to have people remember what happened to her as a very little girl. What happened to Ayla is very important not only to her, which of course she is the one most unacceptably harmed, but, what happened to her is also something that happened to all of us as she was one of all of us. We all cry for her suffering and we cry at the loss of her very own life that she cannot get back. We do know that Trista her mother will always carry Ayla with her in her heart. I am hoping with many others, that in 2018 the truth prevails for Ayla Bell, Trista, and all of her loving family. We also continue to hope and pray for the much needed justice for Sweet Ayla. All of our little ones deserve to be safe and protected in their lives – not harmed.

    From USA TODAY

Mom, boyfriend sought in torture, murder of girl, 4

DETROIT — U.S. Marshals are seeking help in their search for a couple wanted in the torture and killing of a 4-year-old girl, who died last week after suffering severe burns.  On Monday, police said they were seeking a mother and her boyfriend on charges of torturing and killing her daughter, Gabrielle Barrett, at a home where police previously found drug paraphernalia and weapons, according to the Sumpter Township (Mich.) Police Department. Police believed they were the prime suspects in the case. According to WXYZ-TV in Detroit, U.S. Marshals are offering up to $5,000 for anyone with information that leads to the direct arrest of Candice R. Diaz, 24, and Brad E. Fields, 28.

Greenville Tx is east of Dallas. They had a boy that was leaving with his father after a violent argument and the mom pregnant shot at them killing the boy.

Then last night the police were called to a gas station and behind it was two women with a died infant. That story is developing.

It breaks my heart all these kids dieing with one parent involved or covering for their new beau. That is one reason i will never date because my grandkids thought so much of my husband and i do not want any stranger around my grandkids. I am not sure what unleashed all this evil. I remember hearing that our children are our future. Maybe these killers lifes look bleak so they take it out on the most innocent and helpless person they can find. God bless Ayla and all these kids that never had a chance.

Its so sick. As we wait for justice for Ayla it seems so many kids are dieing with no one to stand up for them. Ayla does have a loving family that wanted and loved her.

Sorry Mama i guess with my 10th grandchild due in March i can not understand all of these children dieing.
Everytime i am reading Wfaa and Usa news it has another horror story. I would take any of my grandkids if needed. I guess it is up to the grandparents to get more involved. My husband, bless his heart, stayed in the middle of all of our grandkids life because i worked. Now i talk with all the mothers and let them know i am here when needed. I am not pushy like him. I have been blessed but it seems Ayla sperm donor family did not look at her that way. I will never understand that and i never want to have feelings like theirs. It sticks in my mind Trista dad crying and no years from the other side.

        I am threw Mama

Gwen, it is so hard reading and hearing about these children. It seem to me that many times drugs are to blame. But sometimes it is not drugs.
I wish there was something we could do to keep children from being in these situations. It is heartbreaking. Children should be loved. Children should come first.

Yes I am sure I do not want to hear about the weapon either. This is the first time I have smiled in days because one child will get justice. I believe the mother was involved with the death too but the father is taking all the blame so she can be with their daughter one day.

Thank you Gwen. I really really hope Sherin gets legal justice. The fact that her parents who deliberately chose her to be their daughter, then they abused her to death… it is not understandable. If I understood, Sherin was mentally slower, I cannot remember exactly what I read. This could have made her life impossible in the hands of an overly demanding abusive parent. And this is snipped: “he never woke his wife, a registered nurse who works at Dallas Children’s Medical Center.” which means her mother was an RN AT A CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL and would have been educated enough to understand things that should have helped Sherin not harmed her. I hope he makes a deal – no trial. Just does the Life.

Oh no !!! WTH ? This is pure evil. This is not just crazy drug sh*t. This is he is EVIL.

I hope her short life had happiness and joy in it despite this horrible monster. Yes I do understand there has not been a trial yet. But there seems to be facts (I believe he said he was too drugged up to remember where he put her.) he took her and disposed of her besides the facts her brothers have stated abuse. And no the father was not in their lives recently so he did teach the children to say anything.

      Those poor boys.

If she had a sister relationship with Sherin, she must be missing her terribly. I hope those involved wait till they feel she can handle ‘it’ about her parents being permanently out of her life while growing up. Maybe ease her into all the changes.

I hope whoever has her right now knows how to be comforting and safe for her. I hope who ever adopts her feels lucky to have her for a daughter.

Hello, everyone. I haven’t posted in a while, but that doesn’t mean that I have not been thinking about Ayla. Last night I watched “Murder on the Orient Express”, the new version just available On Demand. During the closing credits there was a sweet, simple song that really touched me. It’s as if it was written for Ayla by Trista. I found it today on YouTube (it’s sung by actress Michelle Pfeiffer) and it’s called “Never Forget”. Here are the lyrics, but I urge you to listen to it…

    Please
Will you come home? Will you stay with me?
Say you’ll laugh, say you’ll understand
    Say you’ll dance with me
Say you’ll smile that silly smile for me
Say you’ll hold me in your arms so sweet
Will you come home? Will you come home to me?
    Home, my love

    We will never forget you
    You will never leave
In our hearts we kept you
    We’ll be safe

You’ll remember all the days of summer sun
Hold me close in dark November
    Before the winter comes

Tell me all the things you wish for
Tell me all that you would want to live for
When you come home, when you come home to me
    Home, my love

All the days of sorrow will vanish in tomorrow
You can count on me, my love
    To be here
We will all be ready, love and kindness steady
    We will never forget you
    You are home, my love

Happy Easter everyone. May this Sunday be calm without any news of another child murdered. Today my oldest granddaughter would have been 15. I understand how Trista wonders what Ayla would have worn for the egg hunt and how she would have enjoyed helping her little brothers. It’s sad that her sperm donor gives up children and has no worries about Ayla. She would have had an awesome life without him. It is because of him she will not be with the ones that truly love her. God bless all of you and I am praying that Trista gets all the answers to her question soon. Time is on her side because I know he has to be sweating this out.
